Welcome to Breast Cancer:
Essential Knowledge for Health Care Professionals

With funding from the Maryland Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the University of Maryland Schools of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work created the following breast cancer web modules so that all health care professionals have access to this critical information.

You can review the modules for your own knowledge, or you can earn three Nursing or six Social Work Contact Hours for reviewing them and completing an online evaluation.

You are eligible to earn contact hours if you complete the program and an evaluation. Participants shall pay for the School’s services in awarding the contact hours and certificates. After completing registration, the modules and the evaluation, you will receive your certificate by email within four to six weeks. Upon registering for the modules, please be sure to review the modules and submit an evaluation no later than a week after registering. After 60 days, you will forfeit your credits and no refund will be issued.
